Believe it or not, it is time for us to start thinking about camp.  This year, our camp dates are March 28th and 29th.  This is a one night, two day stay.  Camp is $30 dollars, your  camp fee covers transportation to and from camp, meals and snacks for two days, lodging for one night and exciting, hands-on classes with experienced outdoor educators.  There is a health professional on duty 24 hours a day.

Checks should be made payable to North Linden PTSO. Cash will be accepted as long as it is in an envelope marked with your child's name. You will receive a receipt for your payment. Please fill out the medical form sent home with your student or fill out the one online at https://www.heartlandoe.com/online-health-form/index.phpp.  Because we are leaving soon, we need to have your payment no later than March 21st, but we'd love to have it sooner.

All of our students are expected to attend camp as it is an important part of your child's educational experience this year!

This Week we are answering the questions: What is research? & Why do we research?

We are learning how to evaluate online sources and learning that not all sources are credible. Ask your child about the Pacific Northwest Tree Octopus!

Our annual Valentine’s Lollipop sale is underway.  The proceeds help reduce the cost of camp for our third and fourth graders.  Valentine Lollipop's are .50 cents and it's a fun way to send a friendly message to a friend.  Please encourage your kids to participate!  It's really fun!  Everyone was sent home with order forms. The last day to participate is this Wednesday!

**We are excited to welcome a motivating assembly called The NED Show to our school on Monday, Feb 12 at 1:30pm.

**This Friday, February 16th @5:30, we are having a skating party at Skate Zone.  Mrs. Sword has arranged professional roller skaters to be there to teach our kids to skate.
